Personalized Family Photo Calendars

I used the earliest photos I could get of six different family members (two with 2 pictures) whose birthdays happen to fall in the same month. Those images were extracted from eight different photographs and merged into the background scene.  We do a good job of fitting the parts we have to work with into the scenes in as natural a way as possible. The calendar picture on the right uses the youngest pictures I could get of seven different people suitably edited and blended into a picture of a snowed-in truck stop in Pembroke, NY.

 

But what can Mikie Metric do for you?

  • Edit, crop, enhance photographs that you provide,

  • Record the blended pictures on a CD in a suitable format so you can take or send it to a print shop/calendar company to have the actual calendars made,

  • Blend those photos into a background (yours or ours), including names or captions, if desired.
Editor's note: Our specialty is editing, design and lay-out.  We are not set up to do the actual printing and assembling of calendars in any number greater than 2.  Print shops and calendar companies can perform this function more efficiently and cheaply, especially if the set-up has already been done for them.  The calendar companies will provide the date pages and will insert names on the dates of their birthdays.  You provide us with photos of people to be included in the calendar, labeled with the month they are to be part of.  Samples of the work-in-progress will be e-mailed to you periodically for your approval or suggestions.

How to Order:
  • Start by sending us an e-mail describing what you want done.  Be as complete as possible.  We will then let you know if we can do what you want.  We will also tell you what you need to send us to get the job started.
  • 1) Fill out the forms below and click the Submit button, then send the photographs to Mikie Metric Productions, P.O. Box 3216, Williamsport, PA 17701. OR
  • 2) Print  the the Print Out Order Form , fill out the relevant sections, and send them, along with your photographs,  to the above address. OR
  • 3) Fill out the forms here, Submit them, go to the Credit Card Page and click on the Buy It after the item you want and follow the purchase instructions, then send us your photos and relevant information.  You can also pay through Pay Pal  , using fotos at mikiemetric.com  to access our account.
  • Note: With all of the options above, it is important that you label each photograph with certain essential information: What month your photo is to be blended into; which person in the photograph is to be part of the calendar (if there others shown in the photo); your name.
  • Extra Note: How are you to label your photographs? Write the information on a Post-It and stick the Post-It on the back of the photo, OR write very lightly on the back of the photo itself.
  • Final note: One complete set of calendar pictures (cover page plus 12 months) will be printed out on good quality brochure/photo paper and sent to you with the set-up CD so you can see what the printer should provide you with.

  • In the boxes below, write the Titles of the scenes (yours or ours) you want us to use for the Calendar you are ordering.
  • Write the name of the month after the scene you want to represent that month.
  • If you have no preference, put N/P in the Title box. We will use our judgment to select a background that best matches the photos that are to be inserted into the scene or that fits the season of the year.
  • If you want to use one of your own photos as background for one or more months, send it/them (labeled clearly with the month it/they are for) along with the photos of the Birthday people and in the appropriate box below write my Photo.
  • Send us YOUR scene photos for that personal touch: your vacation pics, your family life, etc. Label the photos with the months you want them for.
