Mikie Metric's Pix Fixes

The internet is loaded with digital photo editing sites, programs and services.  Several of them allow you to upload your photos, give you the tools and information to make all kinds of improvements and changes to your photo, let you save the result in a variety of formats, and then download the finished product.  With all this available for people to do it themselves, who needs me? Well, I'm sure there are some among you who don't have the computer know-how, the imagination, or the equipment to do serious digital manipulation or photo enhancement on your own.  That's where I come in.  This site will demonstrate many of the jobs I have done.  The digitally manipulated photos have been used for family calendars, greeting cards, personalized bookmarks, postcards and other purposes.  The backgrounds are from the hundreds of stock photographs in my collection covering dozens of topics.  If you see something you like or need my help, write to me at the address at the bottom of this page.  Otherwise, just enjoy the pictures.

+ = The first picture shows a wedding cake from the side.  Notice that you cannot see details of the cake top.  The second picture shows the cake top in good detail, but there is no cake with it.  The newly-weds were disappointed that no one seemed to have a good front view photo of the whole cake.  Enter Mikie Metric to save the day.  Picture three shows the complete cake after we digitally merged the first two photos.  This picture now completes the couple's wedding album.

Because of war and political turmoil in his country, many of the treasured family photos had been lost or destroyed. This person asked me if I could fix these pictures and show the brother and sister together, holding hands if possible.  Here is the result.
